The first music writing camp kicks off tomorrow…

There can’t be many Dubai residents that haven’t heard of FIVE Hotels and Resorts. The brand has become synonymous with celebrity sightings, brunches, DJs, and day-to-night good times across its duo of hotels on Palm Jumeirah and in JVC.

And now, the Dubai-based brand has partnered with the iconic Warner Music Group to launch a new record label called Five Music.

Five Music will attract top talent from around the world to perform and bring FIVE’s events to the forefront of the international music scene.

Warner Music Group’s network of artists includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Burna Boy, David Guetta, Dua Lipa, Goo Goo Dolls, Mac Miller, Saweetie, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bruno Mars, and more.

Also, at the Palm Jumeirah Hotel, Five Music will eventually open a recording studio where producers, musicians, and writers can get together and collaborate.

To kick off the celebrations, Five Music will host a music writing camp with Warner Music Central Europe and Dabruck Creative. Taking place from April 28 to May 14 at FIVE Palm, the camp will bring together artists such as Robin Schulz, Space Motion, Franky Wah, and Alle Farben and writers KIDDO, Bully Songs, and Gez O’Connell.

Fabian Drebes and Doreen Schimk, the co-presidents of Warner Music Central Europe added, “We are excited to work with FIVE Music and to be able to offer our artists and writers an excellent and exciting site to perform, write and produce music.”
