In a moment that felt lifted from a blockbuster film, the lead skydiver flew through a narrow architectural opening in the tower where the Tattu Sky Pool is located, reaching speeds of more than 200km/h. The rest of the team followed closely behind, leaving trails of colour across the Dubai Marina skyline.

Adding to the wow factor, Jason Momoa was there to witness the stunt in person.

Filmed from impossible angles

The entire stunt was captured using a specially designed FPV drone, offering cinematic views that you simply cannot get from the ground. The footage places viewers right in the action, weaving between steel, glass and sky as the athletes fly through the tower.

A sky-high launch moment

The aerial display marked the official opening of Ciel Dubai Marina Hotel and was delivered in partnership with Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, SkyDive Dubai and Visit Dubai, turning the Marina skyline into a stage for an unforgettable moment.

Meet Dubai’s tallest hotel

Rising 377 metres into the sky across 82 floors, Ciel Dubai Marina now holds the title of the world’s tallest hotel. The striking new landmark brings together bold architecture with hospitality and leisure experiences, offering 360 views across Dubai.

The hotel is part of Vignette Hotels and marks a major milestone for The First Group.
