F45 Dubai Marina is coming back with a new location
Just when you thought you were safe from another round of burpee broad jumps…
After saying farewell to its beloved Trident Grand Mall location in April of this year, F45 Dubai Marina has been taking some well earned rest days.
No tears on the blue track
The popular boutique fitness brand had been putting residents, locals and visitors through 45-minute resistance, cardio, strength and hybrid workouts for a decade. But as with all great training sessions, it couldn’t last forever (even if those Tuesday Marathon classes felt like they were going to).
The kettle bells were hung up, the battle ropes retired, ergs were purged, and the nostalgic blue track was rolled up for a final ceremonial salute. Since then droves of F45ers have presumably been walking the streets of the Marina, asking people to count their clean-to-press reps as they come to terms with a world without burpee finishers.
One more rep, allegedly
It was never meant to be farewell forever, the brand’s motto ‘life changing’, means resilience, persistence, and never giving up even if your Whoop is telling you the strain is too high. And so, like an oddly muscular Phoenix, raising from the metaphorical ashes, a new studio was born.
The details of the new location are currently under wraps along with the opening date, but there is a live link to register interest in becoming founder members.
We’re told the new studio will be “a bigger space” with “new strength racks, and more ways to train.” Yet still retaining the exceptional quality of coaches that F45 is known for globally.
Those looking to get a taster of what to expect should check out the Palm Jumeirah location, by hitting up their @f45_training_jumeirah Instagram channel DMs.

What is F45?
The elevator pitch would be: ‘a functional marriage of Stockholm Syndrome and the best, most consistently varied and challenging workout you’re likely to find on the market’. You get a phenomenal return on your effort investment.
There are no mirrors, no egos, no corners to hide in. Just you and the countdown to the next station.
The studios offer daily 45-minute classes (except Saturdays, which tend to be 60-minutes) in functional (which is where the F in F45 comes from) fitness. The classes are split between resistance, cardio and hybrid sessions – with additional special classes, Hyrox Signature workouts, throwdowns, game days and challenges. These are then separated into further cycles of ‘Base Phase’, ‘Build Phase’, ‘Peak Phase’ – applying techniques like time under tension, or pulse reps into the mix for maximum, eye-twitching effect.
The class composition also cycles each month, and no one workout is ever the same, which makes the experience feel fresh.
But truly the art of F45, is the Lionheart at the core of F45. It’s the coaches, the ethos, the community, the friends you make in anatomical trauma (including the people inflicting it) are friends you make for life.
Which is why this Dubai Marina news is so important for the resting tribe.
