Uber has officially crunched the numbers from its list of Lost and Found, and shared the most unique things left behind. And it is a mix of hilarious, relatable, and… slightly baffling.

We know you can’t wait to get to the list, but if there’s one thing it leaves you with, it’s this: always do a quick double-check before you shut that car door.

Here are the 10 weirdest things left behind in Uber in the UAE over the past 12 months. 

  • A full-sized massage table – Okay, just… how?
  • A drone – Going, going, gone… 
  • Metal industrial blades – We don’t want to know… 
  • Boxing belts – A tough loss for a tough rider.
  • A stroller and a pacifier – Bet they thought about it when the baby started crying.
  • Ski goggles – Was your pickup location the Mall of the Emirates? If it wasn’t… we have questions… 
  • A TV remote control – Honestly, I once went to the mall with a landline in my bag, so… not judging.
  • Hair mousse and a hair dryer left behind – We hope you left it behind after you did your hair. 
  • A calculator – The probability of leaving it in the car was miscalculated.
  • A Labubu – If this happened when they were first launched, the person who returned it to the driver deserves a medal.

How to retrieve lost items from an Uber in the UAE?

If you’re one of those people who left something behind, head here.

  1. Select the trip on which you lost the item.
  2. Scroll down to “Find lost item” in the Help section, and then “Contact driver about a lost item.”
  3. Select the item you lost from the options listed and where the item might be in the vehicle.
  4. Enter your phone number to call the driver.
  5. If your driver picks up and confirms that your item has been found, coordinate a mutually convenient time and place to meet for its return to you.
  6. If your driver doesn’t pick up, contact help.uber.com to get help.

You can still contact your driver via the webpage.

  1. Sign in at help.uber.com
  2. Click “Riders”
  3. Click “Help with a trip” and select the trip where you lost your phone
  4. Click “Lost Item”
  5. Click “Contact driver about a lost item”
  6. Enter a phone number where you can be reached.
  7. Tap Submit.
