Yas Waterworld is officially home to the most waterslides on the planet

If you needed another reason to plan a trip to Yas Island, this is it.

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi has officially broken a Guinness World Records™ title for having the most waterslides in a waterpark anywhere in the world.

Yep, the Abu Dhabi favourite now boasts a whopping 55 waterslides, officially earning its place in the record books.

A new world record for Yas Island

The Guinness World Records™ certificate was presented during a special celebration at the waterpark, with officials from Yas Waterworld and Miral marking the major milestone.

The new title comes after the park’s recent expansion, which added 11 brand-new rides, slides and attractions to the already action-packed destination.

More slides, more thrills

The park is now home to more than 70 rides, slides and attractions, with its record-breaking collection of waterslides taking centre stage.

Among the new additions is Matamir’s Drop, the UAE’s tallest waterslide, alongside high-speed racing slides and interactive water adventures designed for the whole family.

Inspired by Emirati storytelling
