Dubai is fast becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.

With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for at The Dubai Mall, we’ve put together a list of some of the famous faces spotted in Dubai and the UAE over the past week…

Joan Smalls

Supermodel Joan Smalls jetted into Abu Dhabi this week to help Etihad Airways celebrate their 15th birthday. The model clearly made the most of her time in the capital, posting snaps from the Al Wathba Fossil Dunes, Yas Marina Circuit, and Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

Liv Tyler

Lord of the Rings star Liv Tyler was also a special guest at the Etihad celebrations. The actress shared a glam video of herself applying lipstick in the airplane bathroom, mid-flight.

Rio Ferdinand & Kate Wright

Congratulations are in order for football legend Rio Ferdinand and former TOWIE star Kate Wright, who got engaged in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. Ferdinand shared photos of the surprise proposal, which took place on the helipad of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi. “She said yes,” he captioned the photo, adding that he was amazed his three children were able to keep his romantic plan a secret from Wright.

Roberto Cavalli

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli was in Dubai this week to launch a new menu at his namesake club, Cavalli. The legend surprised his grandchildren, who live in Dubai, by coming to pick them up from school.

Mo Farah

British Olympic legend Mo Farah has been enjoying a family holiday in Dubai. The athlete timed his visit to coincide with the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and he made a special appearance at the Palm Jumeirah Fitness Village over the weekend. He also shared this snap with the fam, checking out the rides at IMG Worlds of Adventure.

Ksenia Borodina

Russian TV host and blogger Ksenia Borodina was in Dubai this weekend to help host a party at the Mirage karaoke club in the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The Instagram star shared this snap from the aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm.
