Snapped: Celebrities spotted in the UAE this week

Jason Derulo goes dune bashing, Avril Lavigne is camel riding and Pierce Brosnan says a fond farewell to the capital…

With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for at The Dubai Mall, we’ve put together a list of some of the famous faces spotted in Dubai and the UAE this week…

Jason Derulo

After two huge gigs at Meydan super clubs White and Drai’s last weekend, R&B star Jason Derulo hung around in Dubai to get in some sightseeing. As well as taking some seriously wow-worthy shots with a Burj Khalifa background, he was spotted feeding bears at Saif Belhasa’s farm, and dune bashing in the desert.

Rochelle Hulmes

Former popstar turned Brit TV presenter Rochelle Hulmes was on a three-day work trip to Dubai with Visit Dubai this week, and they certainly made sure to show her the sights. She filled her Instagram with pictures on JBR, at The Dubai Mall, and riding the waterways of the Madinat Jumeirah.

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne put on a stellar show at the opening of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi on Thursday, and has since been enjoying some down time in the capital – including making time for a camel ride.

Tom Odell

“First ever show in dubai tonight. gonna play something brand new to celebrate,” Brit singer Tom Odell captioned this beachside snap ahead of his single-date performance at the Rotunda at Caesars Palace.

Busted

It’s been a busy few days in Dubai for Brit band, Busted. In town to perform at The Irish Village on Thursday night, the band were also spotted around Atlantis, The Palm filming their new music video for forthcoming single, Shipwrecked.

Toni Terry

Model and WAG Toni Terry is on a sun-soaked break with friends in Dubai. Judging by her stunning insta snaps on the beach by the Burj and enjoying dinner, it looks like she’s staying at the beautiful Jumeirah Al Naseem resort.

Michelle Kwan

Olympian & World Champion ice skater Michelle Kwan has been in Abu Dhabi for the start of the Special Olympics. But, between official duties, she made time to get in some yoga on the beach, sharing this video with her 150,000 followers.

Pierce Brosnan

After several weeks of filming for new film, The Misfits, Pierce Brosnan has said a fond farewell to Abu Dhabi. “Thank you Dear Stefan Fuches (GM) and all your wonderful and kind hearted staff @jumeirahetihadtowers for making my stay in your home one that I will always treasure. Love life Abu Dhabi” he captioned the heartfelt post
