Snapped: Celebrities spotted in the UAE this week

Gwen Stefani puts on a stellar show, Arsenal FC see the sights and Ne-Yo takes to the desert…

With so many A-listers (and B, C and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, it can be hard to keep track of who was spotted where.

So in case you were wondering who to keep an eye out for at The Dubai Mall, we’ve put together a list of some of the famous faces spotted in Dubai and the UAE this week…

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani closed the show at Dubai World Cup in spectacular style on Saturday March 30. Stefani performed an array of her best-loved hits to a packed out crowd of racegoers.

Arsenal FC

It was a busy few days in Dubai for Arsenal FC. As well as playing a mid-season friendly against Al-Nasr Dubai SC at Al Maktoum Stadium, first team players Mesut Ozil, Bernd Leno, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Shkodran Mustafi were treated to a tour of Dubai, where they visited Dubai Frame and Dubai Canal on an open top bus.

Jerome Boateng

German footballer Jerome Boateng celebrated his 30th birthday in Dubai recently, and was sure to keep his 6 million followers on Instagram up to date with what he was up to. He shared this picture alongside former Dutch player Edgar Davids as the duo met at the Burj Khalifa.

Helen Flanagan

Model and actress Helen Flanagan took to Instagram to share a picture of her striking leopard print outfit before heading to the Dubai World Cup this weekend. She shared the snap from the steps of Buddha Bar at Grosvenor House before heading to the high-fashion horse racing event.

Gareth Gates and Faye Brooks

Coronation Street star Faye Brooks and singer turned actor husband Gareth Gates have been enjoying a romantic holiday in Dubai, while making plenty of time to eat at some of the city’s most popular – and lavish – eateries. The duo shared snaps at Beefbar, STK, Asia Asia and Cavalli club while on there getaway.

Ne-Yo

So Sick hitmaker Ne-Yo headlined three gigs in Dubai last week, but made time between them to see some sights in Dubai. As well as shopping up a storm, and visiting Saif Belhasa’s farm, he also took a trip to the Dubai Desert for some dune bashing.

Akon

“Base Dubai was amazing”, rapper Akon simply captioned this post the night after headlining at the city’s open air super club in d3.

Georgia Steel

Another star who made her way to Dubai World Cup this week was Love Island alum, Georgia Steel. The reality TV star celebrated her 21st birthday in style by heading to some of the city’s top parties with Inside Lifestyle.
