Sheikh Hamdan congratulates Manchester City on Premier League win

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai has taken to social media to congratulate his ‘brother’ Sheikh Mansour after his football team Manchester City defeated Brighton to become the Premier League winners on Sunday night.
In the Tweet, Sheikh Hamdan also went on to congratulate “the club’s huge fan bases in the UAE, UK & around the world. And a huge congratulations to the players & coaches who displayed a unique level of footballing excellence”.

Sheikh Mansour, who acquired Manchester City FC in 2008, also took to Twitter to congratulate the team for their second consecutive season win, which is also their sixth in history.

Manchester City beat Brighton in a 4 – 1 victory at Brighton’s home ground on Sunday May 12 to be crowned Premier League winners for the second year in a row.
Elsewhere in the league, Liverpool beat Wolves at Anfield 2 – 1 to finish second in the Premier League standings, while a goal-less draw for Chelsea and Leicester saw Chelsea finish third in the overall standings for the 2019 Premier League.
Tottenham also qualified to play in the 2019/20 season of the Champion’s League, having finished fourth in the Premier League table.
