Sheikh Mohammed to reveal worst government services in Dubai
The best and worst performing government service centres are set to be revealed later this year…
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has issued a stark message to government officials, warning them that anything short of the best is not acceptable.
The Dubai Ruler announced via social media that he has issued an instruction to evaluate 600 government service centres across Dubai, with the five best – and worst – performing centres to be named publicly.
The evaluation of government service centres has already begun, with the announcement scheduled for September 14.
“My message to officials: We will not accept anything short of the 1st position globally in our services & facilities” Sheikh Mohammed concluded the Tweet.

This isn’t the first time the Dubai Ruler has criticised the quality of services offered across the city. In 2018, he carried out an inspection at Dubai Airport and told officials they needed to ‘raise the bar’ when greeting passengers entering Dubai Airport, and making procedures easier for those coming through DXB.
