Residents and workers in the Ibn Battuta area rejoice: You can now get a slice of Lime Tree’s famous carrot cake at Ibn Battuta Gate.
The latest opening of the popular cafe chain also promises to be completely plastic-free in a commitment to sustainability.

All of the food packaging at the new cafe is completely plastic-free and made with sustainable and biodegradable materials. Plus, they’re rewarding customers who do their bit too, with a Dhs2 discount on hot drinks for everyone who brings in their own reusable cup.
Lime Tree already has locations in Al Quoz, Jumeirah, Sheikh Zayed Road and The Springs, making this the fifth opening for the homegrown cafe chain.
If you’re looking for somewhere healthy to spend your lunch break, The Lime Tree cafe offers a range of nutritious salads, gluten-free toast and granola pots as well as toasties and sandwiches for dine-in and to go.
In the mood for a little treat? You definitely have to try their range of sumptuous cakes and if you’re struggling with what to go for, as we mentioned before, the carrot cake is a guaranteed great choice.
