Sheikh Mohammed names worst performing government service centres
The Ruler of Dubai also revealed the top 5 best performing government service centres…
Back in July 2019, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter to announce that 600 government service centres in the UAE would be evaluated with the best and worst performing centres to be revealed to the public.
The Tweet came with a stark message to government officials, warning them that anything short of the best is not acceptable.
The date was scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019 and not a day later, Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter to publicly announce the top five best and worst performing government service centres.

As revealed, the best center is Fujairah’s Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship and the worst is Sharjah’s Emirates Post pic.twitter.com/xrSIS9wKI3

In the tweet, Sheikh Mohammed declared that the best government centre was Fujairah’s Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship and Sharjah’s Emirates Post was declared as the worst government centre.
In the tweet, the Ruler of Dubai also stated the top 5 best and worst government centres in the UAE.
The Best 5 Government Service Centers were announced as:
1. Fujairah Center – Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship
2. Ajman Center – Ministry of Education
3. Ajman Traffic and Licensing Center – United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interiors
4. Wasit Police Station in Sharjah – United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interiors
5. Ras Al Khaimah Center – Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme
The Worst 5 Government Service Centers are:
1. Al Khan Center in Sharjah – Emirates Post Group
2. Muhaisnah Preventive Medicine Center in Dubai – Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship
3. General Pension and Social Security Authority Sharjah Center
4. Bani Yas Social Affairs Center in Abu Dhabi – Ministry of Community Development
5. Tawteen Center in Fujairah – Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
Sheikh Mohammed continued the series of tweets stating that “We directed immediate management replacement in the worst centers with highly capable leaders. We ordered director generals to closely monitor their entities and improve centers’ performance in a month.”
And to see to it that this change actually takes place, Sheikh Mohammed added that he will personally visit the centres next month.
Remember, this isn’t the first time Sheikh Mohammed has paid a visit to government offices. Back in August 2016, Sheikh Mohammed paid a surprise visit to government offices to unfortunately find several seats and desks empty. He later announced a reshuffle of that government department’s executive management, and enforced management changes effective immediately.
As a reward to the best performing service centres, Sheikh Mohammed stated that the teams will receive a two-month salary bonus.
We will evaluate services, ministers and managers annually. We will also evaluate ministries and entities and reveal our reports with all transparency. We have the courage to evaluate ourselves and our teams because the cost of hiding mistakes is much higher. pic.twitter.com/AYNnKlIXau
