Ripley’s Believe It or Not! traveling show is coming to Global Village
The attraction will feature six galleries sporting over 150 unbelievable artifacts, a mirror maze, Vortex tunnel and more…
Global Village fans, take note. You probably already know that Dubai’s Global Village will reopen on Tuesday October 29, and while you probably can’t wait to check out the themed markets, try out the food and beverages and check out the live entertainment, here’s another to add to your list. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum will also be at Global Village this year.
If you haven’t heard of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! – it is an American franchise founded by Robert Ripley, and it showcases items and events that will literally make people question the claim – hence the statement ‘Believe it or not!‘
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has museums across the world and they display artifacts that have been collected throughout the last century. The list includes items from the microscopic world and the worlds of science and computer technologies, artifacts that have been flown in space and even meteorites from Mars and much more.
And it’s all waiting for you to see at Global Village this year. There will be six galleries displaying a diverse collection of over 150 unbelievable artifacts. From art made from unusual materials, animal oddities, and even stories from real people and places that are hard to believe.
Expect to marvel at the world’s only fully wooden-built Ferrari, which operates not only on the ground, but on water as well, a behemoth Megalodon shark jaw, and much more.
There will also be interactive experiences as well for a more hands-on experience like Ripley’s Marvelouse Mirror Maze featuring 100 mirrors, LED lights, sounds all to deter you from escaping the labyrinth maze.
Not dizzy enough? Check out the Vortex tunnel.
According to Bader Anwahi, CEO at Global Village, “We are confident the weird and the wonderful world of Ripley’s will leave a lasting impression on our guests, which is why we are proud to be delivering on our commitment to bringing exceptional entertainment and cultural showcases from across the world to the UAE.”
The attraction will be open on the same day as the return of Global Village, on Tuesday October 29.
We can’t wait to check it out.
