Looking for somewhere different to spend your evenings this summer?

Looking for somewhere different to spend your evenings in Abu Dhabi this summer? Then it’s time you checked out the Khaymetna tent at the Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana – it’s a venue that was packed during Ramadan, so much so that the hotel has decided to keep it open all summer.
Khaymetna offers traditional Arabic hospitality at its best – inside you’ll find seating for around 100 people, plus live music to set the mood – there’s an Arabic singer and an oud player performing five times a week (every Tuesday to Saturday) and we recommend you take your dancing shoes along when you visit – dancing at Khaymetna isn’t just an option, it’s encouraged.
Feeling hungry? Tuck into a comprehensive a la carte menu of dishes from the hotel’s highly-regarded Middle Eastern restaurant Kamoon. You can enjoy classic dishes such as fattoush, quinoa tabbouleh, kamoon tawook, and lahme bil karaz (meatballs in cherry sauce – it’s a dish that originates from Aleppo in Syria), plus international grub including chicken escalope, fried calamari rings and shrimp butterfly. Make sure you leave space for dessert, they serve one of the best kunafas in the city.
But if you’re after a more relaxed evening, then you and your friends can kick back and play a game of cards or backgammon, supplied for free by the hotel.
Entry to the tent is free, so if you’re bored of going to the same old bars and restaurants this summer, then it’s time you made Khaymetna your new local.
