Run around Ferrari World
Ferrari World has joined forces with Yas Mall for another indoors race. Runners can choose from 2.5km, 5km and 10km options and will make their way around a course that takes in both venues. Called the Abu Dhabi Sports Council City Run, check-in and bib and chip collection is between 7am and 8am in the customer service area at the entrance of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. The park has
post-run breakfast specials and entry deals that can be purchased in advance when registering.

New dishes to try at Black Tap
The NYC Burger outlet famed for its freakshakes has new dishes to try including the Baja Grilled Chicken Sandwich (Cajun grilled chicken breast, salsa verde, avocado, beef bacon, melted pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, cilantro and fresh lime) and the Atomic Shrimp burger (fried shrimp, atomic sauce, dry coleslaw, boston leaf lettuce, sesame seeds, scallions, asian spices).

Seafood and eat it at Sevilla
There’s live cooking stations aplenty at the Friday Fish Market Brunch at the Al Raha Beach Hotel. Denzel’s back as The Equalizer
The Equalizer 2 is in cinemas from this weekend. After travelling to Turkey to dispose of some baddies and rescue a kidnapped little girl, special-ops agent Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) returns home to discover his colleague (Melissa Leo) has been murdered in a tit-for-tat assassination. So Robert decides to go full-on Kill Bill and slay them all. The first film made $192 million worldwide, so a follow-up was always on the cards.
A summer of sport at ZSC
Zayed Sports City is hosting the annual Abu Dhabi Sports Festival this summer. Take your friends and choose from a variety of sports including basketball, football and table tennis. They’re suitable for all fitness levels. Football pitches cost Dhs300 per hour, volleyball bookings are Dhs150 per hour and walk-ins are accepted subject to availability. Children aged between four and twelve can purchase Open Play session tickets for Dhs21 and parents, nannies and younger siblings can come for free.

Local art at Al Qattara
There’s a new exhibition running in Al Ain this summer that’s all about community. Summer Exhibition at Al Qattara Arts Centre is showcasing 28 artworks by 23 emerging UAE-based artists and students. Running until late September, each piece offers insight into how every artist views their community, society and the world using a variety of mediums including oils, pastels and digital art. The exhibition also includes pieces by local Al Qattara students, fitting given that since opening in 2011 the centre has offered locals a year-long public programme including exhibitions, activities and art workshops.
