Pop-up specialists La Loupe are hosting a Ramadan Caravan at Al Seef Village Mall this weekend. There’ll be more than 30 homegrown vendors selling jewellery and gifts including handmade shoe makers Babel & Co and kids’ clothing company S.A.M.

Try a 10-course iftar
The What’s On Award-winning Indian restaurant Tamba will be serving an iftar menu featuring a whopping 10 dishes. On it you’ll find smoked pineapple soup, Bombay bhaji rolls, baba ghanoush with pulled beef and more. Suhoor starts at 9pm, and the outlet is offering a Dhs180 dessert platter featuring its signature chocolate mousse dessert, The Break-Up.

Learn about Sheikh Zayed at The Galleria
This year, the UAE has been celebrating what would have been Sheikh Zayed’s 100th birthday, and during June you can learn more about the country’s founding father at a new photography exhibition. Running throughout the Holy Month, on display are 40 images, many of which show the impact of his legacy on the country and important landmarks in the UAE’s history. There’s photos of the opening of the country’s first national university in 1977, plus an image of Sheikh Zayed with Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qassimi and Sir Geoffrey Arthur, who was a British resident in the Gulf, before the signing of the Treaty Of Friendship, between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, at the Jumeirah Palace in Dubai in 1971.

Fashion meets art in Al Ain
The Garden City of Al Ain is hosting an exhibition of fashion illustrations over the next few months. Lines And Stitches features designs by UAE artists and inside you’ll find 21 pieces, along with eight art installations. There will also be workshops, hosted by fashion designers and illustrators from the UAE, every Saturday while the exhibition is running.

Go collecting at Etihad Modern Art Gallery
Etihad Modern Art Gallery’s annual exhibition and souq are back, giving you the chance to admire works by local artists, and maybe even buy a piece. The artworks on display have been featured at all of the gallery’s shows over the past year, and the event is now in its fifth year. The souq will be selling a selection of contemporary art pieces, including modern acrylic and oil paintings and digital prints.

Learn about Ramadan and family fun at Yas Mall
The shopping centre’s last Hala Bil Weekend takes place this Friday and Saturday. There’s themed activities such as arts and crafts, face painting and kids can also be entertained by stilt walkers and more. At 8:30pm, 9:30pm and 10:30pm a storyteller will read tales about the Middle East to families in both Arabic and English.

Check out Breakfast In Sand
Le Royal Méridien has joined forces with Abu Dhabi Art Hub for Breakfast In Sand, an exhibition featuring four Serbian artists. The talents created pieces for the Art Hub’s Serbian Art Month back in February and the exhibition is in conjunction with the Serbian Embassy in the UAE. The four artists displaying are Milica Babovic, Ana Golovic, Leila Vujovic and Ivana Zivic. The pieces are inspired by their time in the UAE.
