A lavish new floating hotel is coming soon to Dubai
There’ll be six floating houses attached to the floating hotel, near Dubai Marina…
Dubai is no stranger to impressive waterfront hotels, but this new development promises to take the cake in the aquatic stakes. The Sea Palace Floating Resort is currently being built, with plans to park the luxurious floating hotel near Dubai Marina.
The Dhs600 million development, from Seagate Shipyard and El Bahrawy Group, includes six Neptune floating homes connected to the luxury hotel.
According to Mohamed El Bahrawy of El Bahrawy Group, construction is nearing completion on the glass-bottomed homes, with 95 per cent of the work already done. “The remaining work will be finished in a month, while the whole project is around 65 per cent complete,” he says.
If you have a cool Dhs20 million burning a hole in your pocket, you could join an exclusive coterie of property owners, with the first of six Neptune villas recently snapped up by a Dubai business man.
Described as a mix of yacht and home, the Neptune floating villas will be spread over two floors, with a balcony, rooftop entertaining area and private swimming pool. Inside, there are four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a kitchen, living room and crew quarters. The interiors have been designed by luxury car brand Aston Martin, for that extra level of extra.
