For the last 26 years, Il Pastaio has been a go to hotspot for lovers of Italian cuisine in Los Angeles. Now, the LA restaurant will be opening its first international export right here in Dubai.

Sicilian brothers Giacomino, Celestino and Calogero Dragos opened what is considered one of the best kitchens in Beverly Hills in 1993, and are finally ready to expand to the rest of the world. You’ll find the new restaurant in top dining destination Al Habtoor City.

Set to open in mid-December, Il Pastaio is set to shake up the Italian restaurant scene with homemade pastas, fresh meat and fish, signature sauces and a tempting wine list.

Al Habtoor Group’s Vice-Chairman & CEO, Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor commented: “Il Pastaio will be the perfect unique addition to the array of dining options, providing Dubaians and visitors to our beautiful emirate with exceptional gastronomic experiences.”

He added, “I am happy to be bringing the new Il Pastaio Dubai to our city. This new outlet promises a true family atmosphere in luxurious world-class settings.”

The restaurant itself reflects on its Italian heritage wherever possible with nostalgic imagery, authentic ingredients and a well-trained team. Dishes to look out for include rich pumpkin ravioli, smooth squid ink risotto, spicy arrabbiata and divine ‘sin-free’ desserts.
