In honour of UAE National Day, What’s On asked you to take part in #UAESelfie, a social media campaign that saw entries published in the November issue of What’s On magazine.
We asked residents in the UAE to take a picture of yourselves enjoying our wonderful home and uploading it your social media channels using the hashtag #UAESelfie. And boy, did you go for it!
Thousands of selfies were tagged, capturing images up in the mountains, checking out some cultural hotspots, in the sky, in the sea, in front of iconic landmarks and simply enjoying life in the UAE.
Three of the best #UAESelfie’s have now been carefully vetted, judged, fought over, and finally selected and they’ve each a won weekend stay each at a five-star hotel in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, courtesy of Fairmont The Palm, The Fairmont Dubai, and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr.
