Sheikh Hamdan spotted dining at Sirene by GAIA
Dubai’s Crown Prince is well versed in the city’s dining scene
If you follow Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, on Instagram, you’ll know he’s a bit of a foodie. Well-versed in Dubai’s ever-evolving dining scene, Sheikh Hamdan is often spotted at some of the city’s hottest restaurants. In his latest outing, he was seen dining at Sirene by GAIA.
The royal, popularly known as Faz, recently visited the Greek-Mediterranean restaurant at J1 Beach, where he tucked into meals curated by renowned chef Izu Ani.

The chef has a unique approach to Mediterranean cuisine, which alone is a reason to dine at Sirene, but you best make a reservation since it has now officially received Sheikh Hamdan’s royal seal of approval.
Sirene by GAIA is led by Evgeny Kuzin and chef Izu Ani and is the world’s largest beach club. The sprawling space is part restaurant and part beach club, and the two are linked by whitewashed bars, a sparkling swimming pool, and a lounge arranged around a DJ booth where guests dine with their toes in the sand – it’s all big, bold and beautiful.

The Crown Prince is clearly an influential foodie and visits plenty of Dubai’s buzzing restaurants.
Just this year, he has visited Window – the latest concept from Fyte Hospitality (the team behind Kokoro), and in March 2026, the royal was also photographed with his entourage at another of Izu’s restaurant – the French-Mediterranean eatery La Maison Ani by Chef Izu in Dubai Mall.
In the past, Sheikh Hamdan has also dined at the chef’s other buzzing restaurants: Alaya Dubai and Gaia at DIFC and at Carine at the Emirates Golf Club.
A post shared by the chef on his official Instagram shows a light-hearted moment shared between the two.
