From 828 metres up: New 360 degree video of Burj Khalifa jump
Ever wanted to fly from the world’s tallest skyscraper wingsuit-style? Well this 360 degree video of a Burj Khalifa jump is probably as close as you’ll ever get.
XDubai has just released a 360 degree video that shows two of the company’s bravest athletes, Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen, leaping from the tallest tower in the world, using a wingsuit and then a parachute to keep them safe.

Move the 360 degree version around and you’ll get to follow the point of view of Fugen and Reffet (who is now one of Dubai’s ‘jetmen’) zooming past the skyscraper with red smoke streaming from their feet.
The new 360 degree video appears to be from the same jump as the one from this 12-million-views-and-counting video from two years ago:
Reffet and Fugen’s jump from the three-metre platform atop the Burj Khalifa broke the Guinness World Record for the ‘highest base jump from the tallest building in the world’. (A cameraman did the jump too so there were actually three very brave men on the day.)
Speaking after the 2014 jump, Fugen said: “This was the jump of a lifetime and an achievement of three years of hard training. I am glad we landed successfully, accomplishing a lifelong dream.”
Reffet added: “This was my best jump by far. It was a dream come true.”
