Sheikh Mohammed congratulates Morocco on World Cup quarter-final qualification
The Dubai Ruler shared a message of congratulations after Morocco secured a place in the World Cup quarter-finals
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to X, to congratulate the Atlas Lions after they secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

In the post, Sheikh Mohammed said, ‘Congratulations to the Atlas Lions for their victory today. Congratulations on qualifying for the quarter-finals of the World Cup. A strong performance and a fighting spirit that we rejoice in and take pride in.’
The Dubai Ruler congratulated the people of Morocco and ‘his brother His Majesty King Mohammed VI’, adding prayers of success for their upcoming matches.

Morocco secured their place in the World Cup quarter-finals after a commanding 3-0 win over Canada in Match 90. The Atlas Lions were in full control as they booked their spot in the last eight.
Morocco will now face France in the World Cup quarter-finals after Les Bleus secured a 1-0 win over Paraguay in Match 89. The match will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026.
