Museum of the Future, an iconic attraction will reopen in 2027 with brand new immersive experiences

If you’ve been meaning to visit Dubai’s Museum of the Future, now’s the time to plan your trip.

The museum has announced that it will temporarily close in mid September 2026 for a major refresh, with a brand new line-up of immersive exhibitions set to open in the first quarter of 2027.

Why is the museum closing?

Unlike traditional museums with permanent displays, the Museum of the Future regularly updates its exhibitions to reflect the latest developments in technology, science and innovation.

This will be the biggest refresh since the attraction first opened in February 2022, with the current galleries making way for an entirely new collection of interactive experiences.

According to the museum, the new exhibitions have also been inspired by ideas and suggestions shared by people from around the world.

When will it reopen?

The Museum of the Future is expected to welcome visitors back in the first quarter of 2027.
