From our very own cat café to a festival dedicated to furry friends, it’s fair to say that Dubai residents love pampering our pets.
Well now we can even bring them along on weekend staycations, as Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence is now welcoming pets to stay at its hotel apartments.

These pampered pooches and pussycats pictured living in the lap of luxury at the hotel are actually models from the UAE company The Animal Agency – it’s a hard life, hey? – but it’s not too far off the treatment that the hotel’s four-legged guests can expect…
“If curiosity killed the cat then I think I’ll stay right here, darling…”
On arrival, the lucky pets will feel like top dogs (or cats) when they’re greeted with gourmet treats and a fridge stocked with pet food (on request). While they chow down, their owners can check out the information pack on the city’s best pet-friendly activities.
“Are you barking mad? I ordered caviar.”
Guests can even treat man’s best friend to a pampering session with a visit from a groomer that’ll leave them feeling like the cat that got the cream, afterwards they can stretch their legs around the grassy area outside.
“Jump in? Do you now how long it took to do my fur this morning?”
Or, why not request one of the pet-sitters and walkers to take care of your furry friend while you take advantage of the unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark and complimentary entry to the private beach at Jumeirah Beach Hotel?

Getting somebody to pamper your pet while you sun yourself on a private beach? Dubai has really outdone itself this time.

The apartments start from Dhs918 a night for UAE residents and, (this might put the cat among the pigeons), but keeping a pet does include extra cleaning costs.
Be prepared to dish out an extra Dhs500 a night for a one night stay depending on the size and breed of your hotel partner. For stays of a month or more a refundable security deposit of Dhs10,000 is required upon arrival and a cleaning cost of Dhs2,000 is payable at check out.
The hotel is really pitched at people moving to Dubai who want their pet to live with them from day one while they hunt from a home – you can stay at the luxury pad for Dhs25,000 a month (per apartment).
