Dubai’s leading design fair will be back for a third time in 2014 attracting another diverse, compelling, highly-collectible modern and contemporary  pieces and installations.

Design Days Dubai will take place from March 17-21 and will once again lay on a public programme with leading design personalities and industry experts. The latest edition of the exhibition will exhibit a 20 per cent growth in galleries including representations from new territories such as Japan, Jordan, China, Austria, Portugal, and Pakistan.

The five-day event – one day longer than previous editions – will once again take place at The Venue, next to the Burj Khalifa, in Downtown Dubai.

The event’s director said: “We are proud to have curated the world’s most diverse collection of modern and contemporary design items, placing regional galleries together with international exhibitors – and blending inventive design techniques, practices, and skills into a world-quality fair. Design Days Dubai has evolved and developed in harmony with the region’s increasing appetite for design, and reflects the host city’s status as a hub for innovative design and arts in the region, and beyond.”

Alongside the exhibits,  a public programme presented by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority will hope to inspire and help educate visitors about principles and innovations in design. It will feature informative talks and workshops, as well as live performances and special design installations.
