The gloomy weather is expected to stick around for the weekend…

Dubai residents have woken up to yet another rainy morning, causing havoc on the roads on the last day of the working week.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology has confirmed that the unstable weather conditions are set to continue for the rest of the weekend, with cloudy skies and scattered rainfall.

They are predicting rain on Friday, but that it will clear somewhat by Saturday.

Also, winds are blowing dust and sand across the country, causing poor visibility, and rough waters in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

While cloud cover is meant to decrease over the weekend, forecasters are also predicting a dip in temperatures.

On Sunday, we’re expected to experience a chilly low of 14C, with a high of 20C.
