At.mosphere

Wrap up 2017 on a literal high as the world’s tallest restaurant, At.mosphere. Offering a nocturnal fine-dining ‘brunch’ served to the table, there’s a specially curated menu featuring dishes such as stuffed lamb saddle, seared seabass with artichokes, and smoked salmon gratin dauphinois. Asado

Add a little Argentinean fiesta to your New Year’s Eve celebration at Asado. There will be a five-course meal, complemented by lively music from an Argentinean duo, and some pretty spectacular Burj Khalifa views. The package includes free-flowing drinks, with soft and premium beverage packages available.

Atlantis The Palm

Their annual gala dinner is one of the highlights in the calendar at Atlantis The Palm, and this year is no exception. Held on Atlantis Beach, guests can enjoy fantastic views of the Atlantis fireworks. The evening begins with canapes and welcome drinks in Asateer before the venue opens up at 8pm, where a 30-piece live band kicks off the night’s entertainment, playing through until 3am. The international buffet will be open until 11.30pm, with the bar open until 3am.

Basta!

One of two openings for the ‘gypsy chef’ David Myers in the new Renaissance Downtown hotel, Italian restaurant Basta! will prepare a multi-course set menu with unlimited cocktails and house drinks until midnight, with the party going on until 2am.

Beluga

Ring in 2018 with a seven-course dinner and live music at Mediterranean-inspired beach house, Beluga. The patio and the rooftop, overlooking the Arabian Sea and Dubai skyline, offer unobstructed views of the panoramic fireworks display at the Burj Al Arab. The pretty-as-a-picture Jean-Georges in Four Seasons Jumeirah will be hosting a retro party for diners this New Year’s Eve. It’s Dhs250 for a four hour beverage package including wine, bubbles and whisky, plus an a la carte food offering, with hits from the 60s through to the 80s.

La Cantine du Faubourg

Stylish French restaurant and lounge La Cantine du Faubourg is ringing in the New Year with an opulent celebration. Alongside a three-course set menu featuring dishes such as foie gras terrine, roasted scallops and lobster thermidor, a DJ will be spinning a groovy house soundtrack and live performances will also take place through the evening.

Ramusake

Enjoy panoramic views of Jumeirah’s shoreline, a five-course dinner and the sommelier’s choice of selected beverages this New Year’s Eve at Ramusake. La Petite Maison will get a 007-inspired makeover for ringing in the New Year this festive season. Diners are invited to join the adventure at this black-tie event, which will go on until 3am. The regular a la carte menu will be available with a minimum spend of Dhs1,500 per person.

TRYP by Wyndham

TRYP by Wyndham is throwing three events in one this New Year’s Eve, with their Retro Party taking place place across all three of their venues; Local Lounge, L!QD Tapas Bar and BarBary Deli + Cocktail Club. Kicking off with chilled vibes at Local Lounge, moving to the festival-feel L!QD and finishing up at New York-style cocktail club BarBary.

Ostro

Dukes Dubai

Dukes Dubai is combining all of its offerings for a gala dinner and beachside after-party. From 8pm to 11pm, enjoy dinner at British restaurant GBR for Dhs895, or head to 15th floor fine-dining Indian restaurant Khyber, which comes with beverage packages for three hours. Frevo

Step into the world of Brazilian flavours as you celebrate New Year’s Eve with Frevo at Fairmont The Palm. Feast on the Churrasco experience offering meat cut selections carved table-side, and enjoy entertainment by the restaurant’s resident Brazilian duo band as well as carnival dancers. J&G Steakhouse

Ring in the New Year at J&G Steakhouse at the St Regis, 1920s-style. There will be a reception in the champagne lounge to kick things off, then a four-course menu centering around J&G signature meat cuts. Karma Kafe

Karma Kafe has arguably got one of the best views of the Burj Khalifa, and this year they’re pairing it with a five-course pan-Asian set menu, unlimited beverage package until 2am, and live music from George Reyes ‘The Gipsy Man’. Mina A’Salam

For one night only, enjoy the evening brunch at Hanaaya to toast the end of 2017. Set next to the lagoon of Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, the venue offers great views of the fireworks displays over the Arabian Gulf and an upbeat atmosphere with a five-piece band taking you into the New Year, right before the after-party at Shimmers. Pierchic

If you’re after the wow-factor this New Year, Pierchic ticks the box. It’s got some amazing views of the Burj Al Arab fireworks, and is offering a five-course gala dinner from 8pm to 1am, with prices including free-flowing house beverages from Dhs2900 per person up to Dhs5,500 for the caviar and vintage champagne option. Rockfish

Located steps away from Jumeirah Al Naseem’s private beach, Rockfish restaurant is offering a six-course seafood dinner, free-flowing selected beverages and a bottle of champagne for two for Dhs3,000 per person. Shangri La

Shangri-La Hotel Dubai is offering one lucky group one of the city’s most extravagant New Year’s Eve offerings, set against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa. Our Favourite Bar 2017, Barasti Beach Bar, is a popular beachside spot to watch the fireworks and bring in the New Year, with special guests Fatman Scoop and DJ Chuckie. To keep out of New Year’s Eve Downtown traffic, head in the opposite direction to Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. The ever-popular Candypants party brunch is offering up all its usual high energy, table dancing, bottomless party fun with a NYE twist this year. Bringing its typical glamour and opulence to its annual New Year’s Eve party, Cavalli will be adopting a French theme this New Year. The name of the night is ‘Let them eat cake’, and true to the title, there will be cake, lots of it, as well as all things French Victorian. Inner City Zoo

See in the New Year at JBR’s latest nightclub Inner City Zoo, and you’ll be able to catch a DJ set by EDM duo Basement Jaxx. Lucky Voice

Inspired by the parties in Thailand, Mr Miyagi’s is bringing the annual full moon party to Dubai. Expect a five-hour package enjoyed in tiki decor, UV lights, glow in the dark bodypaint, entertainment and cocktails served in buckets. Offering up one of Dubai’s longest New Year’s Eve celebrations is Nikki Beach. The day-to-night festivities will kick off from 1pm with a poolside disco party, concluding with the disco ball at the first floor Nikki Prive restaurants and lounge. It’s Dhs500 for unlimited food and drink for four hours, or Dhs1000 for eight hours.

Q43

Popular Media City loft lounge Q43 is bringing legendary DJ Judge Jules to its annual New Year’s Eve party this year. Vii

Sheikh Zayed Road club Vii is hosting ‘La Nuit Burlesque’ this New Year’s Eve, giving the club a Parisian makeover for the special night. Expect a Parisian vibe a la Le Crazy Horse and Le Lido with glitter glam stations, Burlesque dancers, live acts, international DJs and more. It’s a non-ticketed event, but there’s a package for the girls for Dhs900 offering unlimited bubbly and cocktails from 9pm to 1.30am.

Warehouse

Popular party spot Warehouse is throwing open its bar (and kitchen) for a bottomless feast this New Year’s Eve. From 8pm to 11.30pm, guests are invited to enjoy a widespread feast, with the open bar carrying on until 3am. For those that get peckish later on, a la carte options will be served until 3am too. Oh, and the Boxtones will be there to keep the atmosphere well and truly lively.

With their three-time weekly changing production, we’re expecting big things from White’s ‘A Bizaar NYE Journey’. Zero Gravity

One of its biggest New Year’s celebrations to date, Zero Gravity will welcome back DJs Jax Jones and Sigma to celebrate New Year’s Eve at the beach club. Jones is best known for featuring on Duke Dumont’s number one hit I Got U and his 2016 top ten single You Don’t Know Me. Also, flying the flag for British music is Sigma, famed for their UK number 1 single Nobody to Love.
