The Closer duo will perform in Dubai on February 8.

Get ready for a huge singalong: The first artists for RedFestDXB 2018 have just been announced, and The Chainsmokers will be headlining day one of the music festival.

The American DJ duo, made up of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, will be performing smash hits like Closer, Don’t Let Me Down and Roses at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Thursday, February 8.

US rapper Russ, known for tracks What They Want and Losin Control has also been confirmed for day one, as has South London singer-songwriter Kelli-Leigh, and French-Lebanese artist Anthony Touma.

The line-up for day two of the festival will be announced on Wednesday.
