Aquaventure Waterpark is opening a new attraction just for children
Sponsored: Children can bring a parent for free this Saturday, too…
It’s already home to some top rides, including the adrenaline-pumping Rapids and the death-defying Leap of Faith. But now there’s a brand new attraction to check out at Aquaventure Waterpark, as the famous Atlantis, The Palm destination is set to open Splashers Island this weekend.
Located next to Splashers Mountain, Splashers Island features seven exciting new body and tube slides for families with children under 1.2 metres. There’s also set to be a giant dry playground in the form of a Shipwreck, so there’s plenty to keep those little splashers busy while parents can relax in the spacious new area.
To celebrate its opening, this Saturday May 12, for every child admission purchased, one parent goes free. This includes complete access to all of Aquaventure Waterpark, too. Now, that’s one parent perk we like the sound of…
The family-friendly addition also brings the first KIDZ Tornado and KIDZ Bowl rides to the region. Expect to shoot into a giant bowl, and descend into orbit in the KIDZ Tornado, or take it slow and relax at the KIDZ Bowl.
Splashers Island adds to the already exciting child-friendly area at Aquaventure Waterpark. At Splashers Mountain, you’ll find a large wet play area of climbing frames, water cannons and two enormous tipping buckets that send over 1,000 litres of water gushing down onto those who are brave enough to stand below.
Access to the brand new, family-exclusive area is included within the cost of a general admission ticket to Aquaventure Waterpark.
So if you’re wanting to cool off with the kids this weekend or later this summer, we reckon this might just be the day-cay you’re after…
And keep your eye out online, as there’s set to be a bunch of special rates available through the summer.
