One of the region’s biggest music conventions is heading back to Dubai this summer.

Running over four days from September 23 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre the 2015 Dubai Music Week promises to be a ‘platform for music fans to interact with celebrities and musicians.’

Including four main segments, Dubai Music Week features concerts, with British starlet Ellie Goulding, 30 Seconds to Mars and Jason DeRulo confirmed, celebrity guest speakers, master classes and an entertainment village.

According to Live Nation Middle East, there will be four concerts in four days headed up my international pop, urban, Arab and Latin music heavyweights on the main stage. Celebrity guest speakers from the world of music and entertainment will also give music fans an opportunity to get up close with their heroes.

Local talent will also get the opportunity to learn from the best through limited master classes led by globally recognised experts in vocals, dance, drums and guitar.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Music Week entertainment village will host music and gaming experiences, as well as offering variety of food and beverage options.

‘Dubai Music Week is very much about embracing the whole community, whether a DJ, local music industry professional, budding producer or simply a lover of music,’ says James Craven, Managing Director of Live Nation Middle East.

Previous years have seen the likes of chart toppers Will.I.Am, Timbaland and Selena Gomez performing to packed crowds, and workshop seminars from legendary record producer Quincy Jones, British songwriter and producer Rod Temperton and Grammy Award-winning audio engineer Bruce Swedien.

Gig line-ups and guest speakers will be announced in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to WhatsOn.ae.
