Tickets for City Slide Dubai, the city’s first urban 500-metre water slide in the middle of the city, are available now.

Tickets are now on sale for Dubai’s first ever city slip ‘n’slide, taking place this month at Motor City’s Dubai Autodrome.

City Slide Dubai – a slippery 1,000ft water chute with two lanes – will be sliding into town on September 25 and 26 with punters able to ride down the flume on a giant rubber ring from 11am to 11pm on both days.

According to the organisers, the waterslide will operate in two-hour time slots throughout the day and participants can reserve their slot via platinumlist.net now.

The wacky attraction has already proved a phenomenal hit in America, the UK and Amsterdam and now the craze is headed for the UAE.

The brains behind the City Slide Dubai event claim that Dubai will be transformed into the longest city street slide with ‘a 500 metre slide’ in the heart of Motor City.

Part-bouncy castle, part-water slide, thrillseekers  should prepare for an epic slide around the city, made even faster thanks to jets of soapy water that are sprayed along the slide. Riders will be able to soak up the party atmosphere as music is blared out to get people into the summer party mood.

Water balloons, water pistols and food and drink stalls will also be on site.

Tickets costs Dhs170 for a two-hour time slot and includes entry to the venue. For those who do not wish to slide, entry to the event costs Dhs50. Children below the age of 5 years can enter free, but are not allowed to slide.
