There’s no denying Dubai Mall’s Fortnum & Mason offers a great view of the Burj Khalifa fireworks (the above pic is the exact perspective from the restaurant). Founded in London in 1707, their unlicensed New Year’s party will involve a jazz band, festive décor and a menu that includes lobster soup, roast rack of lamb and chocolate torte with clotted cream custard. Snacks will be served at midnight too. It’s pricey, however. Again, it seems you pay for prime Burj positioning.
