The Belgian duo will be joined by Wolfpack and Mattn for a night of desert raving

Party-goers take note, a massive EDM festival is set to hit the Dubai desert next month and is bringing some of the genre’s biggest stars with it.

Belgian DJ and producing duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will take centre stage for the inaugural GO971 festival which takes over the Al Sahra Desert Resort on Thursday 3 May.

Known as the ‘Kings of Tomorrowland’, the fraternal duo (who are actually of Greek origin but were born in Belgium) have been consistently ranked amongst some of the best DJs in the world according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list.

Their annual ‘Bringing the Madness’ event famously sold out all 60,000 tickets in 60 minutes, putting them on par with the acts like Madonna, Coldplay, Beyoncé and Michael Jackson in terms of speedy ticket sales. That means you’ll want to nab your tickets to GO971 pronto before they’re all gone. Tickets start at Dhs499 and are available via PlatinumList.

In terms of sheer track bonafides, the pair have worked closely with EDM megastar David Guetta as well producing edits for tracks by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Sean Paul, Snoop Dog, Pitbull and more.

Rounding out the bill will be fellow Belgian DJ duo Wolfpack and rising EDM star Mattn.

The festival itself will take place adjacent to a 10,000sqm Festival Village that will offer punters a variety of food and beverage options to enjoy in between sets.
