It will be available at more than 400 hotspots around the country…

Eid Al Fitr is only a few days away, and while we still don’t quite know on which date the annual celebration at the end of Ramadan will fall, we do have some good news for those who like to stay connected around the city.

Dubai-based telco Du has announced that its WiFi UAE service will be receiving a significant speed boost over the Eid period, without any change to its pricing.

This is made even better by the fact that the more than 400 WiFi UAE hotspots (which are available almost everywhere around Dubai, including Dubai Metro and Emaar Boulevard) are completely free to use.

Du says that the hotspots will operate 10 times faster than usual between the period of Tuesday, June 12 to Monday, June 18, which not only covers the entirety of Eid, but also the tail end of Ramadan as well.

Now you have absolutely no excuse to not snap a selfie in front of the Eid fireworks and post it to the ‘Gram.
