A favourite hotspot among celebs visiting Dubai (singer Ne-Yo was spotted here last month), patrons now have a new reason to come to this chic Asian restaurant – its new, family-friendly garden brunch. The kitchen whips up everything from dim sum and Japanese sliders to sushi and sashimi, and you’ll find carving and robata grill stations too. Little ones will be kept busy by the entertainment zone, which features face painting and balloon twisting courtesy of the Toko clown.

04. The Eloquent Elephant

Expect this new neighborhood favorite, tucked away inside the Taj Dubai, to be filled to capacity every Saturday now that the Fill Your Boots brunch has arrived. Classic pub grub — eggs Florentine with truffle hollandaise, fish and chips, roast of the day, homemade pie and mash — is available on an all-you-can-eat basis for a pocket-friendly Dhs199. Should you feel tempted, house drinks cost an extra Dhs30 from noon until 7pm.
