Voting for What's On Awards about to close!

Want to show some support for your favourite Dubai hangouts? Better do so quick!

Have a favourite Friday brunch? A spot where you love to get your nails done? A cafe hangout that always gets your juice order just right? Or been to a concert this year that was the best day out ever?

Well, you can show the love for your favourite spots in Dubai by voting for them in the What’s On Dubai Awards right here – but get in quick as voting closes tomorrow at 5pm (aka Tuesday September 20).

Plus, if you vote you’ll get the chance to win four VIP tickets to Party in the Park on November 11 (see how much fun that is here).

Oh, and if you’re more of a capital buff and want to vote for your favourite Abu Dhabi spot, you can do that here.

The awards are in their 15th year and the winners will be announced at big parties on November 2 in Abu Dhabi and November 7 in Dubai.

Oh, and the shortlist will be announced at the beginning of October, meaning we’ll tell you the top three spots in each category then (although you’ll have to wait till the night itself to find out who the big winner is).

So what are the categories you can vote in?

We’ve listed all of the categories below. After you’ve looked through those and decided which area you want to vote in just go to the vote page and select the relevant section, like Entertainment or Leisure or Restaurants, and the categories will appear. You’ll then be able to see the nominated options and choose your favourites…

Last year’s Restaurant of the Year (a category that is chosen by What’s On’s food experts and not voted on) was La Serre in Downtown Dubai.

Side note: each restaurant category (like Thai or Italian for instance) is split into two groups – there are restaurants where a meal for two will cost you less than Dhs400, and then spots where you’ll pay more than that for date night. So select the price category you think your favourite is in and check out the nominees.
