Because let’s be honest, we all love a bit of celebrity goss…

Dubai is quickly becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.

With so many A-listers (and, let’s be honest B-, C- and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, we bring you a weekly round up of who was spotted where.

So if you were wondering who to keep an eye out for when you’re down at Dubai Mall, we’ve thrown together a list of some of the famous faces in Dubai and the UAE this week….

Shaggy

The Jamaican reggae star who brought us hits like Boombastic and It Wasn’t Me was in town to perform at the opening of the Pakistan Super League. Perhaps wanting a taste of home, the singer stopped by Miss Lilly’s, the Caribbean eatery inside the Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Lauren Pope

Just one month after holidaying in Dubai with boyfriend and Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers, Lauren Pope of The Only Way Is Essex fame is back – and this time she appears to be flying solo. The socialite gave her swimsuit collection a workout, hitting many of the city’s beaches, and even had a DJ spot at Q43.

Nadège Lacroix

The Swiss actress and star of French reality show Secret Story appears to be stopping over in Dubai after a holiday in the Seychelles. The blonde beauty posted snaps of two of the city’s icons – the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Al Arab.

Robbie Keane

When Irish football star Robbie Keane was pictured training with Dubai club Al-Ahli, it sparked rumours that he might be planning to make a permanent move. Turns out, he was just enjoying a vacation, staying at Atlantis The Palm with his wife, Claudine (a former Miss Ireland contestant).

The Trinidadian cricketer, also in town for the Pakistan Super League, found time to take his wife Jenna on a romantic Valentine’s Day date at the world’s highest restaurant, At.Mosphere in the Burj Khalifa. Aww. #dategoals

Kevin Pietersen

The South African cricket star has been keeping busy in his adopted hometown of Dubai, checking out the desert, hanging out at City Walk, stopping by the new Trump International Golf Club, and complaining about the dreary weather.
