Tyrese Gibson wants you to build-your-own Jeep…
Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram last week to announce the opening of Voltron Motors, a custom Jeep showroom located in Sharjah that he has launched in partnership with Souq Al Haraj, the region’s largest auto market.
The ‘build-your-own Jeep’ concept allows customers to do up their own custom ride, choosing everything from the exterior design, right down to the wheels and seat colours. All in appropriately extreme finishings.
In a post to his 8.3 million followers, Gibson boasted that the new venture had already sold 17 custom Jeeps in 3 days.

This comes hot on the heels of the UAE premiere of The Fate of the Furious – the latest installment in the Fast & Furious franchise – marking the Hollywood actor’s first business venture in the region.
No stranger to the UAE, Gibson has now visited our shores at least four times (once even with Will Smith), the first being in April 2014 during on-location filming for The Fast And The Furious.
During the visit, the actor remarked “I found my smile again because of the UAE. I came to Dubai for my 35th birthday and I was sad, I was miserable. I was in a state of trauma and shock after the death of my brother Paul Walker. Then I came to Dubai and my life changed forever. I love this place and now I’m on a mission to make everyone love it like I do.”
Since then, the UAE has practically become the actor’s second home. He’s even got the garb to prove it.
