And this week is no exception: there’s a Notting Hill Carnival event, a Middle Eastern premiere of a surfing feature film and a Coachella inspired one-day music festival.

1. Enjoy a sushi selection for Dhs70

3. Enjoy a free comedy show
‘Hangry for Comedy’ will showcase some of the best homegrown funny guys in the UAE at Al Quoz’s Hangry Hanger pop up this Thursday. The free comedy gig is surrounded by a bunch of homegrown food pop ups too, so you can satisfy your food and comedy cravings.

4. Order in and get half price Pizza
Talabat has teamed up with some of Dubai’s most loved pizza joints to give people up to 50% off when ordering during their ‘pizza week’, which has just started and ends on Tuesday August 29. 5. Get in the carnival spirit
Get into the Carribean Carnival spirit at Lucky Voice as they’re celebrating 50 years of Europe’s biggest street festival tonight. Experience the authentic street vibes of the famous Notting Hill Carnival with live music by Game Over band and DJ Mitchell. There will also be performances from samba dancers to the sounds of the steel pan, and tropical cocktail promotions all night.
6. Enjoy a five-hour bumper brunch

9. Catch a Middle Eastern premiere
Joe & Sons will be hosting the Middle East Premiere of The South to Sian Journals tonight, a feature film documenting the fun, challenges, wipeouts and victories experienced by the Deus boys as they embarked on the two year odyssey to create the award winning film South to Sian. 10. Have breakfast in the sky

11. Head to a new house night in DIFC
