The heat might be winning, but indoor fitness and wellness in Dubai has never looked better…

Dubai doesn’t really do quiet summers. Even as the heat pushes everyone indoors, the city’s indoor fitness and wellness scene is better than ever, with that shift happening inside some genuinely impressive spaces. Studios, spas, recovery rooms – places where you can actually take care of yourself without it feeling like a chore. Here’s our pick of where to go and what to do…

Palm Jumeirah Mall Indoor Run

Each event features four distances: 1km, 2.5km, 5km and 10km all taking place inside the mall, with prizes and vouchers given to the winners.

Infrared Micro Burn

A 45-minute heated Microformer session combined with infrared therapy – it sounds like a lot, and honestly, it is. Circulation, endurance, intensity: all pushed. You’ll get the full-body burn and the signature Micro shake in a class setting that keeps the energy controlled rather than chaotic. It’s become a proper studio favourite for a reason.

SIRO One Za’abeel

This place is built for people who take training seriously. You’ve got the gym, group classes, personal training – but also the recovery side: assisted stretching, dry needling, cold plunges, nutrition consultations. It’s genuinely comprehensive, not just a hotel gym with extra branding. If you want to go all-in, the Fitness and Recovery Suites are worth it – some have in-room workout space, so your schedule
stays yours.

Where: SIRO, One Za’abeel Tower, Za’abeel Street

Cost: Personal training Dhs325.71 per session; nutrition consultation Dhs367.35; compression therapy Dhs240.82; SIRO Plus City View room from Dhs720 per night, including 50% off treatments, Dhs200 recovery credit, fitness classes, and pool access.

Akari Wellness

One of Dubai’s newer wellness spaces, and Red Light Therapy is already the standout treatment on their menu. The science is solid: improved skin tone, reduced inflammation, faster muscle recovery, better sleep. It’s the kind of thing that sounds like a trend until you try it. While you’re there, the Brain Bar is worth a stop – adaptogen and botanical drinks that round off the session nicely.

Where: One Central, Precinct Building 2, The Offices 2,
One Central, Ground floor, Dubai

When: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm

Cost: Dhs400 per session

The Spa, Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai

If your body is carrying the week – tight muscles, heavy legs, that particular kind of tension that won’t shift – the Deep Relief Massage here is worth booking. It uses Ayurvedic aromatherapy oils to work through stiffness and fluid retention, and the spa’s cocoon-style beds afterwards make the whole thing feel properly restorative rather than just functional.

Where: Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah 1, Dubai

When: Daily, 9am to 9pm

Cost: Dhs800 for a 60-minute treatment
