Recovery spa treatments, pizza acrobatics, and the re-opening of a DIFC bar…

Long weekend blues? We get it, and so we’ve rounded up plenty to keep you occupied this week. There are pool days and spa nights for rest and relaxation, dinner deals for the foodies, and two new art exhibitions you’ll want to check out.

Here are eight things to do in Dubai this week…

Sunday September 24

1. Soak up the sun at Zero Gravity

There’s a new offer at Zero Gravity to kick start the week. For Dhs150 enjoy complimentary spa treatments, chill out music, and a Dhs50 food and drink voucher to redeem against a healthy menu of salads and smoothies to help you detox after the weekend and replenish your mind, body and soul.

Sky Dive Dubai, Dubai Marina, 10am to sunset, Dhs150. Tel: (04) 318 1313. More info on website

2. Order in and get a free delivery box from Atlantis

It’s the last day for any JLT, Marina, Palm Jumeirah or JBR residents to take advantage of Atlantis The Palm’s exclusive offer with Zomato. Anyone within these suburbs who orders from the Zomato app will qualify to order a free Atlantis takeaway box that comes complete with a tablecloth that folds out into the World’s map, as well as figurines. Diners should then place the food figurines on the countries that they think Atlantis sources the ingredient from and post their map and guesses on Instagram to be eligible to win a dinner for two at Atlantis’ Ronda Locatelli restaurant.

Atlantis The Palm, until Sunday September 24. Tel:(04) 426 0000. More info on website

Monday September 25

3. Tuck into a taste of the Med’ for Dhs199 at a rooftop Marina restaurant

Atelier M has launched its new autumn menu, and as well as a host of new dishes added to the a la carte offering, there’s also a three-course set menu for Dhs199. It includes a duck confit, soy-honey glazed salmon and a Porcini mushroom risotto.

5. Head down to 7 Elephants

This sleek DIFC lounge bar has been closed for the summer and it’s re-opening this Tuesday. The weekly offerings at 7 Elephants include a daily business lunch, new ladies’ night, sunset drinks offers, sports nights and a non-commercial house music night. It comes with a 35-metre-long bar and Burj Khalifa views too.

It’s a bold statement, but we reckon we could have found the most relaxing ladies’ night in the city. For Dhs150, head to Sofitel The Palm’s So Spa and enjoy mocktails and snacks, a skin consulation, brow station, file and polish and foot massage. Plus, access to the spa facilities including the hydro pool and sauna, are also included.
