UAE weather: Temperatures could reach 47°C as humidity builds next week
Expect hot days, breezy conditions and a chance of early morning fog as the UAE weather turns up a notch
The UAE is in for another hot few days, with temperatures expected to climb as high as 47°C in some inland areas.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Thursday will be fair to partly cloudy, with more cloud cover possible over the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Winds will be light to moderate for most of the day, becoming stronger at times, especially along western coastal areas. Gusts could reach 40km/h near the coast, around 35km/h inland and up to 30km/h in the mountains.

How hot will it get?
Temperatures are forecast to reach:
- 35°C to 41°C along the coast and islands
- 41°C to 47°C in inland areas
- 31°C to 37°C in the mountains
Overnight temperatures are expected to range between 24°C and 32°C, depending on the area.

Fog could return early next week
The weather is expected to stay much the same on Friday and Saturday, with mostly fair skies and some clouds at times.
Humidity will start to increase during the evenings and early mornings, mainly in coastal areas.
By Sunday and Monday, the humid conditions are expected to spread further inland, bringing a higher chance of fog or mist in the early morning.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain mostly calm, with slight to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and slight seas in the Oman Sea.
