There will be 50 per cent off everything this Friday September 15 from 5pm until closing…

Last week we brought you the sad news that popular JLT spot Cocktail Kitchen is to close its doors (and that it’s being replaced by new venue Axe House, a craft beer concept).

But the good news is that they’re going out with one final hurrah. This Friday September 15, there is 50 per cent off absolutely all food and drink. So you’re invited to drink the bar dry, and eat them out of house and home before the doors close ahead of Axe House’s arrival.

And if you can’t wait until Friday, the first 150 dinner bookings made using the code “Arrivederci CKDXB” will have every guest receive a complimentary signature cocktail.

Axe House is scheduled to open at the start of October.

JLT favourite Cocktail Kitchen is closing down

Not heard about Cocktail Kitchen’s closure? Here’s a recap…

Cocktail Kitchen will be replaced by Axe House in the Basement of the Armada Bluebay hotel this October.

We’re sad to hear that Cocktail Kitchen will be closing its doors. The concept, which only opened at the start of 2016, quickly became a popular hotspot for JLT residents. Offering simple decor, knowledgeable bartenders and a casual dining offering, its accessibility had the venue buzzing.

It’s not all bad news though, as Cocktail Kitchen will get itself a brand new location in Downtown Dubai in early 2018.

Not to worry, there will soon be a Cocktail Kitchen in Downtown Dubai.

But with the sad closure of Cocktail Kitchen, we can at least look forward to a new concept.

MORE ON AXE HOUSE…

Axe House will feature pool tables, a live sports den and a friendly, welcoming vibe. You won’t have long to wait either, as it should arrive on the scene in early October.

The casual craft beer and dining concept says that it will serve up simple wholesome dishes, experimental cocktails and a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere. It aims to have a cool London vibe, with a focus on market kitchens similar to Borough and Shoreditch rather than the stereotypical red telephone boxes and Union Jack bunting.

We also hear there will be recovery-style weekend breakfast brunches there too. Count us in.
