The regions first dedicated online content creation event is coming to Dubai
VIDXB, a celebration of digital media and content creation, will happen over two days this December
Dubai is to host the regions first dedicated digital media and content production event, VIDXB.
The two-day event will be a celebration of all things online media, and will take place on December 8 and 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Two digital media stars are already confirmed to take part.
YouTube star, Casey Neistat curates his own daily blog and has amassed over 7.7 million subscribers on YouTube. The star now has his own TV show ‘The Neistat Brothers’ and has curated content for high profile brands including Mercedes and Nike.
He’ll be joined by outspoken gaming and musical star KSI. The British rapper and YouTuber has already amassed over 21 million subscribers across his two channels and over 3.5 billion video views. He will be meeting fans and performing at the event.
Several more guests are expected to join the two-day VIDXB.
“Some of the world’s most prolific online storytellers will showcase the very latest innovations that are disrupting the industry, and by connecting local talent with global experts, will aim to support the development of this cutting-edge industry in Dubai,” explained event director Omar Butti.
The event will welcome both fans of modern online media and industry experts.
For fans eager to pick up tips, there will be a series of meet and greets, experiences and activations, workshops and screenings.
For those already in the business, expect Q&A sessions, panels, networking events and an industry forum.
