Although we already confirmed that public sector workers will enjoy a four day weekend next week, we’ve been waiting for the news on private sector.

The long weekend corresponds with the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and Commemoration Day both on 30 November, as well as the 46th UAE National Day which this year falls on Saturday 2 December.
The news comes after the confirmation of a dry day, a 24 hour period where alcohol will not be served from Thursday November 30 at 5pm to Friday December 1 at 6pm.
These will be the last public holidays for 2017, but remember, January 1 2018 will be a day off.
