1. Enjoy drinks for Dhs5 at an inner city rooftop

Vantage, the lounge and al fresco terrace within Sheraton at Mall of the Emirates is offering selected beverages for Dhs5 for a whole week from February 18 to 24. There’s a selection of mixed drinks available, and no restriction on the amount you order.

Monday February 19

2. Celebrate a belated Chinese New Year

The Year of the Dog may have been rung in on Friday, but that doesn’t mean the celebrations have to stop. Dragon Mart is hosting ten days of festivities until February 24, which include a creative arts and crafts zone teaching kids the art of making traditional Chinese ornaments, Chinese rattle drums and other novelties, live entertainment acts every day at 5pm and 9pm with traditional Chinese face changer, lion dancing, Chinese drummers and performances by Shaolin monks.

3. Enjoy a new set menu at Baker and Spice

Baker and Spice has launched a new Monday night dinner offer that’s designed to showcase the restaurants top vegetarian dishes. It’s Dhs79 for two courses, and all the dishes are gluten and dairy free, so it’s a great option for vegans too.

Tuesday February 20

4. Check out a new pop up bar

There’s a brand new pop up bar to check out at Le Royal Meridien that’s kitted out to look just like a lush, leafy garden. On Tuesday’s, the aptly named, The Garden offers terracotta pots filled with bread, cheeses, pickles and bottles of cocktail for Dhs90 per pot.

5. Head to a ladies’ night at a gentleman’s club

Although it may look like a Gentleman’s Club, The 44 has plenty to keep the girls entertained too. There’s a weekly Tuesday ladies’ night, offering three drinks from a selection from 7pm until 11pm. Plus you can enjoy some bowling at the sports bars double-lane alley.

6. See a legendary 80s rock band

British rock band Duran Duran are set to headline the first day this Wednesday. The influential 80s rock band have created an expansive catalogue of music which has gone on to inspire many of the modern pop, indie and electro-rock outfits that are making waves in today’s music industry. Fans can expect to hear favourites like ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’, ‘Ordinary World’ and ‘Girls on Film’ as well as songs from their most recent, Top 10 charting album ‘Paper Gods’.

7. Enjoy an al fresco workout

The Burj Club is taking advantage of the cooler weather and holding their boot camp outdoors at Burj Park. A combination of cardiovascular, strength training and stretching, each 45-minute session includes a variety of different exercises hosted twice a week at 6.30am on Sundays and 6.30pm on Wednesday’s. 8. Workout with an aquafit class at a stunning new beach club

There’s a fun new work out to try at Drift Beach Club every Wednesday called Super SUP Fit. The forty minute long hiit workouts are completed on SUP boards and aquafit mats, and there are two morning classes every week.
