Pret a Manger to open at Dubai Mall on February 21

Pret A Manger fans, get excited: A second Pret is set to open in Dubai on February 21.
If you haven’t already heard of Pret, it’s a British institution that’s all about sandwiches, soups and salads to go. There’s already a Pret in Dubai International’s new Concourse D in Terminal 1, and now Dubai is set to welcome a second serving to the ground floor of Dubai Mall.
This should be particularly exciting news for all of you working in Dubai Mall or Emaar Business Park (as Pret is a real grab-and-go-while-at-work brand).

Whether it’s the posh cheese sandwich, the molten chocolate croissant or the hot toasties, most Brits have a Pret favourite. The brand has been running since 1986, and it stands out in the fast food industry for avoiding using additives, preservatives and chemicals in its food.
A Veggie Pret brand has also recently launched in the UK – and there are now three vegetarian-only Prets in London – whether this offshoot will come to Dubai, we’re not yet sure.
So yes, after next week you won’t need to commit to international travel next time you feel like a Pret baguette.
“Pret is a brand with real heart and soul renowned for fresh, natural, quality food,” explains Kevin Zajax of Emirates Leisure retail who have partnered with the brand.
“Our first Downtown store in Dubai Mall will have an expanded food offer, allowing residents and tourists to choose their dining experience – from morning handcrafted coffee on the go, to a lunchtime respite savouring one of Pret’s best-loved sandwich creations, to evening al fresco dining overlooking the iconic Burj Khalifa fountains.”
The shop will be open daily from 10am until midnight and 10am to 1am on Fridays.
