Cheese fondue and gorgeous views, seven nights of the week? Yes please…

Okay, we know the word “brunch” makes utterly no sense in the evening, and is technically just a dinner. But no matter where you stand on the great “evening brunch” debate, we think you’ll want to hear about this new offering.

Publique, the Alpine-themed restaurant in the Madinat Jumeirah, has just launched a new evening brunch that will take place every night of the week (including Friday and Saturday).

Now, this is a brunch that actually makes sense to have at night. Brunch-goers can enjoy the warm and rustic vibes of a mountain lodge, complete with a traditional wooden bar, fireplace, and a chalet-style terrace overlooking the Burj Al Arab. See what we mean by cosy?

The new brunch goes from 8pm to 11pm, and costs Dhs295 for a minimum booking of six guests. A selection of starters will be served directly to the table, including salads, an array of cured meats and cheeses, and other European specialties.

Each guest can then choose a main of their choice, including cheese raclette, pierrade (a hot stone on which you can cook your own meat, fish and vegetables), fondue savoyarde and the Alpinist burger, also made with fondue cheese.

An Alpine hideaway in the heart of Dubai where you can eat your body weight in cheese? Now, that’s our kind of brunch.

Publique, Madinat Jumeirah, evening brunch daily 8pm to 11pm, Dhs295 with a minimum booking of six, includes all house beverages. Tel: (04) 430 8550. More info on website.
