International stars, birthday parties, and a huge new club opening…

There’s so much going on this week, we’ve decided to round it up early so you can get planning. From noughties popstar Kelis at Cavalli, to The Chainsmokers headlining RedFest, to a new day to night super club opening with a Grammy nominated rapper, there are some huge parties happening.

Here are six big nights out in Dubai this week. 

Wednesday: Kelis at Cavalli

American pop star Kelis catapulted to fame in 2003 with her third album, Tasty. The album’s smash-hit lead single, “Milkshake” became etched into the American pop culture lexicon, and was one of the catchiest hits of the decade. Catch her at Cavalli club this Wednesday.

Thursday: Q43 turns 4 with Prok & Fitch

The New-York-loft-styleQ43, turns four this Thursday February 8, and and international guest DJ’s, Prok + Fitch, are hosting their birthday bash. The ever-popular Media City venue invites guests to join Beatport’s highest selling artists for a lively night of tech house.

Thursday: Leigh Anne Pinnock hosts Mahiki Dubai

This Polynesian Tiki bar has hosted a flurry of celebrities recently including former X Factor winner James Arthur, and One Direction alumni Niall Horan. This week, they’re set to welcome another X Factor star, and one quarter of girl group Little Mix, Leigh Ann Pinnock. There’s complimentary cocktails for the ladies until midnight.

Thursday: The Chainsmokers at RedFest DXB

Who: American DJ duo The Chainsmokers, made up of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, will be performing smash hits like CloserDon’t Let Me Down and Roses this February 9 at RedFest DXB. They’ll be supported by US rapper Russ, known for tracks What They Want and Losin Control, South London singer-songwriter Kelli-Leigh, and French-Lebanese artist Anthony Touma.

Friday: Drais Dubai opening

Launching on Friday February 9, Canadian rapper and Grammy nominee Tory Lanez is set to take to the stage at the new super venue, Drai’s. Doors will open from 1pm, with an all-day party in true Drai’s style kicking things off. The venue, which has capacity for 4000 club-goers is set to be an uber-lux all day beach club, transforming into Dubai’s super club at night.

Friday: Misfits Society at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE

Misfits Society is taking over Blue Marlin this Friday, and bringing with it two exciting acts; Dennis Ferrer and Detlef . Dennis Ferrer’s unique spin to afro-centric house and soul-techno will take center stage accompanied by Deltef, who’s wide scale influence in the underground scene has landed him among the industry’s giants.
