3 fresh new food spots to dine at this weekend
Another newbie in DIFC, a seventh serving of BBQ bites and a 12-hour revamp welcomes a new hotpot spot…
And if you’re looking for somewhere fresh to head to this weekend, we’ve rounded up three spots we reckon you won’t want to miss out on.
From a brand new restaurant making its debut in DIFC, to a 12-hour revamp that’s bringing a new hotpot spot to Dubai Parks and Resorts, and a seventh serving of a casual chain, here are three restaurants to check out this weekend.
The brand new: Fogo de Chao
Brazilian steakhouse Fogo De Chao has opened its first Dubai location in Central Park Towers, adding to DIFC’s ever-expanding dining scene. It’s got a great pre-dinner outdoor terrace with a separate bar, and inside is split into a lounge on one side and restaurant with shisha terrace on the other. The meat is top quality, with varying cuts served to the table, with a central cold buffet of sides to be dined on at leisure.
Fogo de Chão, Central Park Towers, DIFC, daily 12pm to 4pm, 7pm to 12am. Tel: (04) 343 8867. More info on website
The revamp: Hikina
There’s a brand new restaurant to check out at Lapita in Dubai Parks and Resorts called Hikina. The pan-Asian hotpot and dumpling house is now serving an extensive menu of flavours from the Far East. The spot, which replaces a Cantonese restaurant, is set to serve up hand-crafted dumplings, buns and sticks, with a traditional hotpot the must-try star of the show.
Hikina, Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts. Tel:(04) 810 9421. More info on website
The seventh serving: Barbecue Delights
Barbecue Delights has just opened a seventh branch at Ibn Battuta. It’s a casual setting that serves up some top-notch barbecue bites from around the world, with influences from the Middle East, South East Asia and beyond. It’s a buffet set-up that’s great for families – there’s a dedicated play area to keep the little ones busy.
Unit 03, China Court, Ibn Battuta Mall . Tel: (04) 2884632. More info on website
